K1T3 Beam Bike Design Journey

Explore the evolution of the K1T3 (kite) beam bike, from initial sketches to the finished masterpiece. This project presented a unique challenge: designing a frame where the seat post seemingly floats above the rear wheel. Balancing aesthetics and function, we prioritized both the structural integrity needed to support the rider and the resilience against torsional forces on the lower control arm. As e-bikes gain popularity, we seamlessly integrated a compartment for battery cells.
